Location: Fully Remote – Available across the United States
Schedule: Set shifts — either 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Duration: 90-day contract (with potential for extension)
Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizens only

Position Summary

Nesco Resource is hiring a Remote Medical Claims Representative to join our dynamic Service Center team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for providers and members, supporting them with the claims process, benefits questions, and documentation requirements. This position combines customer service expertise with claims handling knowledge, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals with healthcare support experience looking to work fully remote from anywhere in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison for inbound calls related to medical claims

  • Guide providers and members through benefits eligibility, documentation needs, and claim status updates

  • Accurately input data into the claims management system

  • Assign new claims to appropriate handlers

  • Escalate complex calls to Service Center Specialists or management as needed

  • Educate customers using multiple communication channels on claim timelines, required actions, and payment processes

  • Support company quality assurance initiatives and adhere to all service protocols

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

  • Claims handling and customer service experience in a healthcare or insurance setting

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a high-volume call environment

  • Basic proficiency with computer systems and data entry platforms

  • Must be able to work a fixed shift as listed above (Eastern Time Zone hours)

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Fully remote, sedentary role with standard office ergonomics

  • Requires consistent use of computer, phone, and office tools

  • Must be able to sit, talk, type, and listen for extended periods
