🎯 Your Role

We’re looking for a Part-Time Developer Relations Engineer based in the APAC region, fluent in Mandarin and English, who can act as a technical advocate, educator, and developer community champion.

You’ll help Arbitrum connect more deeply with regional developers, support the community, and create technical content that inspires innovation.


🔧 Responsibilities

👥 Developer Engagement & Community Support

🧠 Education & Content

  • Create high-quality technical documentation, guides, demos, and tutorials.

  • Deliver workshops, talks, and webinars in Mandarin and English.

  • Contribute to the open-source ecosystem via GitHub, blogs, and forums.

🎤 Advocacy & Outreach

  • Organize and participate in local or virtual meetups, hackathons, and events.

  • Champion Arbitrum at blockchain conferences and developer summits.

🛠 Technical Assessment

  • Evaluate grant proposals and third-party project submissions for technical feasibility.

  • Review codebases and architecture to provide feedback on integrations.

📊 Metrics & Strategy

  • Monitor developer engagement and propose data-informed improvements.

  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering to align outreach efforts.


✅ What You’ll Need

  • Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written)

  • Strong English communication and public speaking skills

  • Knowledge of Solidity and general EVM architecture

  • Proficiency in one or more general-purpose languages (e.g. TypeScript, Go, Python, Rust)

  • Solid understanding of blockchain technology, especially Ethereum

  • A collaborative and proactive mindset—ready to own your projects

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience


🌟 Nice to Have

  • Previous DevRel, developer advocacy, or community engagement experience

  • Hands-on experience with Rust and smart contract development

  • Open-source contributions in the EVM or Web3 ecosystem

  • Additional language fluency (e.g. Korean, Japanese, Spanish, Hindi)

  • Experience with decentralized governance, DAOs, or Layer 2 tech
