Join Bell Hospital, a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering compassionate and expert care to the most vulnerable patients — newborns in need of critical support. Our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) accommodates up to 25 infants requiring specialized surgical or medical care. Newborns are admitted both from our Labor & Delivery unit and external hospitals.

Our NICU nursing team embraces a multidisciplinary, family-centered care approach to meet the unique emotional, developmental, and medical needs of fragile infants. We also provide comprehensive education and support to families, empowering them to be active partners in their infant’s care journey.


Position Summary: Clinical Nurse (RN) – NICU

As a Clinical Nurse (RN) in our NICU, you will provide expert nursing care through thorough patient assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of newborn patients, while collaborating closely with families and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, individualized care.


Key Responsibilities


Required Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent;
    Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) for nurses hired after February 24, 2017, with commitment to earn BSN within five years

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Clinical Nurse, preferably with NICU or pediatric experience

  • Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Kansas State Board of Nursing or valid Compact Nursing License

  • Certification: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 14 days of hire


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred

  • Prior NICU or neonatal nursing experience highly valued
