About the Role

As a Senior UX/UI Designer on our Foundation team, you will own the user experience for Soda Cloud and Soda Core platforms. Working alongside engineers, product leads, and co-founders, your focus will be creating intuitive, fast, and meaningful experiences that simplify complex data workflows from onboarding to advanced use cases — including GenAI-driven chat interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead UX/UI design across Soda Cloud and Soda Core, from initial concept to deployed solution.

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to identify pain points and validate solutions.

  • Design workflows, polished UIs, and innovative GenAI-powered features.

  • Collaborate closely with engineers for rapid iteration and delivery.

  • Continuously audit and improve UX flows and the design system for speed and consistency.

  • Drive overall UX strategy beyond pixel-perfect designs.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience designing for complex SaaS products with thousands of technical B2B users.

  • Skilled at rapid prototyping and delivering working solutions quickly. Experience with GenAI dev tools (Cursor, Replit) is a plus.

  • Mastery of Figma and a deep understanding of engineering trade-offs and product details.

  • Strong research skills to extract actionable insights from user sessions.

  • Clear and concise English communication, both written and spoken.

  • Self-driven with strong opinions and a data-informed approach to design.

  • Experience with data engineering or data quality products.

  • 5+ years in fast-paced SaaS or developer tool companies.

  • Delivered developer-focused features such as APIs, CLIs, dashboards.

  • Designed UX for LLM-powered or AI-assisted products.

  • Open-source software (OSS) experience or community engagement.

  • Front-end implementation or close collaboration with developers.

  • STEM degree from a top-tier university (not required).
