Remote Hospice Triage RN (Part-Time) – Work From Home | IntellaTriage

Location: Remote (Must live in and work from a Compact U.S. State)
Schedule:

  • Minimum 1 weekday shift/week: 4:30 AM – 10:00 AM CST

  • Every other weekend: Saturday & Sunday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM CST
    Pay Rate: $23/hour + shift differentials

Key Requirements

To be considered, you must:

  • Hold a current Compact RN license (or be willing to obtain one)

  • Reside and work from a Compact U.S. State (pending/partial compacts not accepted)

  • Have prior experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care

  • Be comfortable in fast-paced environments (e.g., ED, ICU, critical care)

  • Have high-speed internet and a quiet, HIPAA-compliant home workspace

  • Be tech-savvy and able to multitask while managing multiple platforms and patient calls

  • Be able to type efficiently, follow protocols, and communicate with empathy

Your Responsibilities

As a Remote Hospice Triage RN, you will:

  • Handle 5–8 patient calls per hour using client-specific protocols

  • Access and document in EMRs and internal systems during and after calls

  • Provide compassionate, professional support for hospice patients and families after hours

  • Prepare for your shift with 30 minutes of paid prep time

  • Complete remaining documentation post-shift (paid)

Training & Support

  • 3 weeks of remote paid training provided (day/evening schedules)

  • Ongoing coaching and opportunities to grow within the team

  • Access to a strong support network of triage nurse professionals

Benefits (Part-Time & Full-Time)

  • $23/hour base rate, plus:

    • $1/hour overnight shift differential

    • $1/hour weekend shift differential

  • PTO accrual based on hours worked

  • 401(k) eligibility for all part-time and full-time nurses
