URGENT: Remote CrowdStrike & Trellix IT Security Administrator – W2 Only

Location: Remote (U.S. only)
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract (W2 Only – No Corp-to-Corp or 1099)
Pay: Starting at $60,000 per year
Schedule: 8-hour day shift

Job Summary

We are urgently seeking a Remote IT Security Administrator with strong expertise in CrowdStrike and Trellix platforms. This W2-only contract role requires a hands-on professional experienced in triaging alerts, mitigating vulnerabilities, and administering advanced security tools. Candidates must have a proven track record in enterprise security and meet strict minimum qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications (Mandatory)

10+ years experience developing and implementing technical security solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities.

1+ year experience (within the last 3 years) triaging and responding to CrowdStrike alerts.
2+ years experience (within the last 5 years) triaging and responding to Trellix alerts.
1+ year experience (within the last 3 years) working with CrowdStrike Carbon Black.
1+ year experience (within the last 3 years) responding to Abnormal email account compromise alerts.
1+ year experience (within the last 3 years) setting up Abnormal Account Takeover (ATO) detection.
1+ year experience (within the last 3 years) administering Axonius.

Responsibilities

Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts generated by CrowdStrike, Trellix, and Abnormal platforms.
Implement and maintain security solutions to proactively mitigate threats and vulnerabilities.
Administer and optimize Axonius platform for asset management and security compliance.
Collaborate with IT security teams to enhance incident response workflows.
Document processes, incident reports, and system configurations.
Support day-shift security operations ensuring timely resolution of alerts and incidents.

Experience & Skills Required

Deep knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity tools and platforms: CrowdStrike, Trellix, Abnormal, Axonius.
Strong incident triage and response skills.
Expertise in security vulnerability mitigation techniques.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
