Job Overview

Resolute Documentation Services is actively seeking experienced Law Enforcement Transcriptionists to join our remote team. This is a full-time employee position requiring a minimum of 35 hours per week. Due to the sensitive nature of our work, only candidates residing in Southern California will be considered. Applicants must be available to attend an in-person background check in the Los Angeles area prior to employment.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in law enforcement or legal transcription.

  • Proven expertise transcribing law enforcement recordings with high accuracy.

  • Typing speed of 80 WPM or higher with excellent attention to detail.

  • Must reside in Southern California; applications outside this region will be rejected.

  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check in person.

Equipment and Technical Requirements

  • PC with Windows 10 or later operating system.

  • USB transcription foot pedal.

  • Reliable wired internet connection (cable or fiber optic; no satellite or wireless broadband like T-Mobile).

  • Ability to connect computer directly via Ethernet cable to the home internet router (Wi-Fi connections are not permitted).

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive pay between $19.44 and $28.00 per hour, with incentive pay for exceeding production standards.
