📦 Position Overview: Warehouse Assistant I

As a Warehouse Assistant I, you’ll play a key role in maintaining product flow, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Whether you’re inspecting incoming stock, fulfilling outgoing orders, or assisting team members, your work helps keep Wilsonart’s operations running smoothly.

This is an entry-level role, perfect for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in logistics and warehousing. If you’re reliable, eager to learn, and comfortable in a physically active environment—we’ll teach you the rest.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Receive shipments from vendors and internal manufacturing sites

  • Inspect deliveries and place items in correct storage bins

  • Compare materials with shipping manifests; report and document issues

  • Photograph and alert supervisors about damaged materials

  • Cut large laminate sheets to meet custom order needs

  • Read, pack, and process customer orders accurately

  • Prepare pallets and skids for shipping

  • Assist with customer-specific order needs and questions

📚 What You Bring to the Table

No previous warehouse experience? No problem—we’re ready to train the right person. These skills and traits will help you thrive:

  • Willingness to learn new systems (like inventory software)

  • Ability to follow directions and work independently

  • Capable of lifting items over 50 lbs regularly

  • Comfortable using tools such as saws and lift trucks (we’ll train you!)

  • Reliable data entry and order processing ability

  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
