We’re currently looking for a Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) Investigator – Dental Services to join our team remotely. If you’re passionate about protecting healthcare systems, have strong analytical skills, and are experienced in dental investigations, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

As an FWA Investigator focused on dental services, you’ll use claims data, coding knowledge, and investigative tools to uncover unusual billing patterns and potential fraud. Your responsibilities will include:

What You Bring to the Table

âś… Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree or Dental Hygienist background preferred)

  • At least 5+ years of experience in FWA dental investigations OR combination of experience and credentials

  • 1+ years in health insurance and/or dental benefits industry

  • Solid understanding of dental CDT codes and claims practices

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

  • Reliable high-speed internet (50 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload when hardwired)

🌟 Preferred Credentials:

  • AHFI (Accredited Health Care Fraud Investigator)

  • CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner)

  • CPC (Certified Professional Coder)

  • Membership in the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association (NHCAA)
