🛠 What You’ll Do

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Tinybird, you’ll be central to keeping our infrastructure reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient as we grow.

You’ll collaborate across engineering, product, and operations to:

  • Architect and scale our distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.

  • Ensure high availability and elasticity of our platform as customer demand increases.

  • Work on observability—from low-level resource usage to overall platform health using Grafana, Loki, and Mimir.

  • Participate in the on-call rotation, gaining insight into real-world production issues.

  • Automate customer account upgrades, eliminating manual steps and enabling dynamic resource provisioning.

  • Collaborate with the backend team to improve infrastructure usage and integration with ClickHouse, our main datastore.

  • Improve our disaster recovery tooling and help design a more resilient global platform.

We’re hiring someone who brings deep experience designing, running, and scaling cloud-native architectures. Ideal candidates will have:

✅ Proven background in:

  • Distributed systems, high-availability architectures, and disaster recovery

  • Cloud environments and automated infrastructure provisioning

  • Writing production-grade Python or C++ code
