Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Senior Capacity Planner to develop, maintain, and execute strategic workforce management (WFM) plans across our national operations. In this critical role, you’ll work closely with business leaders to align staffing and scheduling with business goals, ensuring our contact center resources are optimized to meet service level objectives.
You’ll apply advanced forecasting techniques, capacity planning, financial modeling, and root-cause analysis to anticipate and solve operational challenges. Ideal candidates will have deep WFM experience in contact centers, along with strong analytical, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Forecast call and transaction volumes by queue using historical and predictive models

Analyze and report on variances between forecasted and actual performance

Collaborate with scheduling teams to ensure accurate headcount and resource allocation

Partner with operations leaders to plan for volume fluctuations, service level goals, and resource requirements

Develop financial models to translate volume and staffing forecasts into budgetary needs

Create and maintain facility capacity plans and recommend realignments or shift changes

Maintain FTE requirements by line of business and support hiring plan recommendations

Deliver regular reporting and insights using Excel, Access, or other reporting tools

Collaborate across departments to support compliance, business continuity, and performance improvement

Conduct ad-hoc analysis to identify root causes of service or volume variances
-
Contribute to strategic planning through accurate forecasting and capacity insights

Provide leadership teams with clear and concise monthly forecast updates and communications
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, or related field
-
7+ years of Workforce Management experience, with an emphasis on forecasting and capacity planning

3–5 years of direct call center forecasting experience

Strong knowledge of ACD systems, contact center metrics, and operations
-
Proficiency in data collection and correlation using multiple systems (e.g., WFM, ACD, QnXT)

Financial background with experience converting data to FTE metrics for budgeting

Advanced Excel/Access skills; ability to create custom reports and statistical models

High attention to detail and data accuracy

Excellent multi-tasking and time management abilities
-
Strong communication skills to effectively explain complex models to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Finance, Statistics, or a related field

Experience with IEX TotalView or similar WFM platforms
-
Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or higher)

PMI or equivalent project management certification
-
Background in Business Analytics or Risk Management
-
Workforce Management certification is a plus
