📍 This is a U.S.-based remote position. If you’re located in the San Francisco Bay Area, we welcome and encourage optional in-office collaboration one day a week.

✨ Role: Part-Time Senior Product Designer

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help shape the next chapter of AllTrails’ product experience. In this part-time role, you’ll work closely with an agile and collaborative team of designers, product managers, engineers, and marketers to create intuitive, visually stunning, and impactful outdoor experiences.

From enhancing trail discovery to refining user journeys across web and mobile, you’ll bring deep expertise in visual design, interaction, and UX—all with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for solving real-world problems.

  • Design Exceptional Experiences: Own the end-to-end design process across web, iOS, and Android—from discovery to launch.

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience designing for consumer-facing digital products across iOS, Android, and web

  • Proven skills in UX, UI, visual design, and interaction design

  • Experience leading product design independently from concept to delivery

  • A strong product mindset, with a data-informed approach—you value research, usability testing, and user feedback

  • Commitment to inclusive design, including accessibility and localization

  • Comfortable working in a part-time or flexible schedule setup

  • Passion for the outdoors and creating tools that help people engage with nature

  • Familiarity with AI tools to support creativity and productivity in your design workflow

🎁 Nice to Have

  • Experience working in both large tech environments and smaller startups or agencies

  • Background in growth design or optimization work focused on user acquisition, engagement, or retention

💵 Compensation

Estimated Salary Range: $157,500 – $177,500 annually (adjusted based on part-time scope)

Final offer depends on experience, skills, and scope of work. Actual compensation may vary based on project load and availability.
