What You’ll Be Doing

🔹 Lead the front end – Manage day-to-day guest services, ensure smooth cash operations, and maintain store standards when other managers are away.
🔹 Deliver top-notch service – Set the tone for warm, welcoming service. Train team members to do the same.
🔹 Keep things running smoothly – From managing tills and safe accuracy to staffing and coordinating between departments.
🔹 Mentor and grow your team – Train, support, and coach team members to hit goals and grow professionally.
🔹 Support promotions and sales – Help with store campaigns, share product info with guests, and promote items to boost sales.
🔹 Stay sharp and organized – Handle attendance tracking, safety compliance, and operational responsibilities with professionalism.
🔹 Set the example – You’ll perform the duties of a Journeyman Checker while also leading by example with positivity and accountability.

What You Bring

✅ At least 1 year of experience as a checker (or equivalent front-end experience)
✅ 2+ years in a supervisory or team lead role preferred
✅ Experience in grocery or retail operations is a big plus
✅ Solid cash handling and POS system knowledge
✅ Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills
✅ Natural leadership qualities—you motivate, train, and uplift others
✅ Detail-oriented, organized, and good at solving problems on the fly
✅ Dependable and flexible—you’re ready to jump in where needed
✅ Able to get a valid Washington State Food Worker Card before starting
