🚀 Position Overview

We’re hiring a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to support multi-vendor infrastructure, integrating and operating advanced cybersecurity systems across global networks. This hybrid role (primarily based in Tampa, FL) offers the opportunity to travel internationally, collaborate with NATO and allied nations, and support key mission-critical defense systems.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Analyze cyber threat data from multiple sources to profile actors and assess risks
Perform forensic analysis, data recovery, and intrusion response
Design and implement cybersecurity architecture with appliances like Gigamon, FireEye, Trellix, and McAfee
Lead engineering efforts for new installations, modernization, and secure integration
Deploy and configure defensive sensors, nodes, agents, and packet inspection tools
Support cybersecurity in complex, multi-vendor environments (network, system, and security stacks)
Conduct SIEM tuning and integration (e.g., with NIDS, proxies, domain controllers)

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

Clearance: Active Secret or NATO Secret
Language: Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken)
Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, CASP)
Tools & Tech: Visio, Lucid, AutoCAD, Gigamon, Trellix, FireEye, SIEMs
Network Security: Strong background in Cyber Network Defense (CND), SOC/NOC/CSOC environments
Certifications (Preferred): CCNP Security, CCNP CyberOps (CBRCOR), MCSA, VMware, Linux, Cloud Security
Experience:
- 9+ years in cybersecurity/IT (or HS + 12 yrs / BS + 8 yrs)
- Physical datacenter implementation, cabling, installation
- Email & Web security, Endpoint protection, DLP, Vulnerability Management
- Designing systems for government, military, and NATO environments

🎯 Preferred Background

Master’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, or related field
Prior military experience (Signal, Cyber, IT MOS)
Certifications like: GIAC/GSEC, JNCIP-SEC, PCNSE, GCP, CISSP
Hands-on experience with network traffic validation, packet redirecting, and inspection
Engineering leadership for global defense or government projects
