About the Role

As a Premier Advisor, you’ll serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of financially complex clients in the mass affluent market. Whether you’re growing an existing portfolio or building one from scratch, your mission is to deliver personalized financial advice and integrated solutions that include banking, mortgages, investments, insurance, and planning.

You’ll collaborate closely with Truist’s expert teams to provide seamless service and build lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field OR equivalent financial services experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services involving banking, investments, or retail lending, OR 1 year in a client relationship manager role.

  • Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning, investment management, retail credit, and bank products for affluent clients.

  • Active or able to obtain FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 6 or 7, 66 or equivalent), insurance licenses, and SAFE Mortgage license within set timeframes.

  • Strong interpersonal, sales, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in business or finance.

  • Experience in Mass Affluent Banking.

  • Professional certifications such as CFP®, CFA®, CTFA®, CLU®, or similar.

  • Completion of leadership or banking development programs.
