Key Responsibilities
Direct Patient Care (80%)

Prescribe, monitor, and adjust personalized treatment plans in line with medical protocols.

Issue medication prescriptions following clinical guidelines.

Order and interpret lab tests, explaining results to patients.

Provide patient education on medications, risks, benefits, and realistic outcomes.

Conduct follow-ups and maintain accurate medical records.

Refer high-acuity patients to specialized care when necessary.

Deliver empathetic, non-judgmental care in a virtual setting.

Qualifications & Requirements
✅ MD or DO with active, unrestricted licenses in 15-20+ states (apply even if close!).
✅ Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (other specialties considered with relevant residency).
✅ Willing to obtain Obesity Medicine certification (sponsored by Vida).
✅ Available for 3+ critical outreach shifts/week (weekends, early mornings, or evenings).
✅ Experience mentoring clinical staff (NPs, PAs, MAs).
✅ Background in treating obesity, diabetes, CHF, or COPD preferred.
✅ Tech-savvy with EMR experience and strong organizational skills.
✅ Adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment.
Compensation & Benefits
💰 $210,000 – $225,000 per year
